The 2013 VOH Western Canadian Conference committee represents members of the Edmonton Victims of Homicide Society, Edmonton Police Services, Alberta Justice and Solicitor General (Public Security) and community members.
This conference will bring together victims’ families, ‘first response’ professionals (Law Enforcement, Justice, Media, Medical and Service Agencies/Organizations with a focus on Homicide), victim advocates, volunteers, and individuals to explore the needs and issues of those in society who have been ‘touched by murder’.

Sponsorship’s- a limited number of ‘sponsorships’ will be given to people in order that they might attend the conference.
Examples of those who may want to seek sponsorship;
- Persons who would find it financially challenging to attend the conference without some assistance.
- Persons who are recommended to the VOH 2013 as candidates to be supported by a sponsorship.
- Students or Victims Services Volunteers who would not otherwise be able to attend.
